Myrian Bellido Aspilcueta, Peru Country Manager: Myrian has a Master of Science in Food Technology, and has contributed to rural development initiatives in Peruvian public and private sectors and international NGOs. She provided technical assistance to dairy farmers and dairy processors through the Ministry of Agriculture, and monitored quality control and efficiency improvement in for-profit entities. Myrian taught English as a Second Language at the University level, and was a professor at the Universidad Cientifica del Sur.

Magdalena Echecopar Iriarte, Peru Country Manager: Magdalena holds a Liberal Arts diploma, and worked as a strategic planner, editor and translator for a number of multinational and Peruvian entities, including eight years at UNICEF. At International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Women and Social Development, she coordinated the "Dialogue for Children's Rights" and oversaw donations. Working with "Every Child UK" in Lima, she directly managed a wide range of tasks from field work to design of external relations and fundraising.

Debbie Futter Puati, Cook Islands Country Manager: Debbie was born and raised in New Zealand and moved to the Cook Islands with her family in 2002 so that their children would be exposed to their Cook Islands heritage. Before joining Global Volunteers staff, she worked for the Cook Islands Ministry of Education as the Health and Physical Well-being curriculum developer. She also worked as a contractor to the New Zealand Ministry of Education in the area of health education.
Debbie Futter Puati
James Puati,Cook Islands Country Manager: James is a New Zealand-born Cook Islander, and leads Global Volunteers service programs year around. He has worked at both elementary and high school levels as a Physical Education teacher and teacher of Maori. He has also contracted to the New Zealand Ministry of Education to develop Maori resources, and as a Pacific Island Education Advisor.
